BDS are currently recruiting for a Bail accommodation Support officer across North and East London.
You will have experience of working in the Criminal Justice system to provide support to service users to take control of their lives, to empower all to live independently in the community and comply with the requirements of their Prison License and Court Bail requirements and conditions. The role will also involve undertaking an induction of each and every service user, production of a personal support plan and conducting risk assessments. There will be liaison with Police, Courts, Prisons, National Probation Service and Community Rehabilitation Centers.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Supporting service users to comply with the requirements of their HDC/Bail conditions.
• Producing a realistic and achievable support plan to include using housing and accommodation services in the area to facilitate move on.
• Ensure that all support plans and risk assessments are person-centered and inclusive of the high quality support being offered.
• Ensure timely responsiveness to void turnaround is kept to a minimum
The role is full time Monday to Friday. Rate of pay starts at £13.00 paye or £16.50 limited. The position is to start asap and will be temporary ongoing in the first instance.
