BDS are recruiting for an Employment & Training Administrator in Cambridge to work for our client who are leading mental health charity.
Based in Milton, Cambridge you will be to manage the administrative and co-ordination functions for the service. Specifically, you’ll be responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective administrative support service is provided to all stakeholders including referrers, partner agencies, colleagues and people who want to access the service. You’ll also be the single point of access for referrals and will co-ordinate and allocate referrals across the team. Maintaining and seeking ways to continuously improve the administrative functions for the team will be important too.
The role will include processing new referrals on to our database, sending letters, answering the phone/responding to voicemails. Processing invoices and compiling reports.
As well as proven relevant experience, you will be efficient with Microsoft and know your way round Excel in terms of setting up and manipulating spreadsheets. You will have the ability to deal sensitively with the people who use the services and establish excellent working relationships.
Hours are 37.5 per week worked Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. This is initially a temporary position for at least the next two months to start asap.
The rate of pay is £10.00 – £10.50 paye or £12.50 – £13.00 limited/umbrella
A current DBS check would be preferred.
